Research Experience
- Submodular Optimization for Discrete Movable Antenna Positioning, City University of Hong Kong (Feb 2024 – Jun 2025)
- Advisor: Prof. Xianghao Yu
- Proved that discrete movable-antenna (MA) positioning exhibits a monotone submodular property subject to a 2-system constraint.
- Proposed the DCSPS algorithm with a theoretical 1/3-approximation guarantee relative to the optimum.
- Extended the framework to imperfect-CSI scenarios with a robust DCSPS scheme.
- Achievable Rate Maximization Pattern Design for Reconfigurable MIMO, Xi’an Jiaotong University (Jul 2020 – Jun 2023)
- Advisor: Prof. Ang Li
- Built a matrix-representation channel model for the pattern-reconfigurable MIMO system.
- Revealed the physical mechanism of the pattern effect on the wireless channel.
- Proposed a sequential optimization framework for pattern design based on manifold optimization.
- Joint Design of Symbol-Level Precoding and Reconfigurable Pattern, Xi’an Jiaotong University (Mar 2022 – Jun 2023)
- Advisor: Prof. Ang Li
- Formulated the joint design of symbol-level precoding and reconfigurable radiation pattern.
- Proposed an alternating-optimization scheme to design the precoder and pattern jointly.
- Developed a low-complexity scheme for practical applications and discussed antenna-design issues.
